2015 Concert Season Recap
The summer 2015 concert season is over and boy was it a great one!
What a great summer concert season it was for 2015. We started off the year with Rush’s R40 tour which could quite possibly be their last major tour after 4 decades of great music. Then a fantastic retro rock night with Tesla, Styx and Def Leppard. However, the highlight for me was a toss up between Slipknot and Van Halen. Slipknot brought an energy and agressiveness I’ve never seen before at a rock show. It was loud, brash and fantastic from start to finish! Van Halen, well, it’s freaking Van Halen man! While Diamond Dave isn’t the same front man of the 70’s and 80’s, he still commanded the stage and of course there is Eddie’s guitar playing which was phenomenal! Here’s to hoping the 2016 season gets here soon and perhaps a winder show or two!
